Space Blackout Dates

There may be occasions when spaces are unable to accommodate Deskpass Users. In such cases, partner spaces have the option to add Blackout Dates, which restrict booking on specific dates that are not available.

Deskpass does not own or operate the spaces listed on our network.  As such, each space completes their own profiles, and chooses their own availability for coworking.

 

Spaces can input an individual blackout date, or, have a recurring closed day, based on their space operations. If a date is blacked out, users will be unable to book and the date will appear greyed out on our reservation calendar. 

Although most spaces are open all week, there may be a few spaces that have closed off days during the week and this may be for a variety of reasons:
  • A special event that day
  • Staffing issues or changes that day
  • Renovations or improvements occurring on-site

How to Add Blackout Dates

  • Log in to your Deskpass Space Dashboard.

  • Click Spaces from the left sidebar > select desired location

  • Click Space Info

  • Click Blackout Days

  • Select Add Row

    • From here, you can add the days you would like your space to appear as closed.

    • Select Holiday for Holiday closures, and select Custom to input your own dates.

    • To input date ranges, unselect the All Day option and add your dates. Set the start time to 12am and the end time to 11pm.

Please note that for any existing reservations, these must be cancelled from the Deskpass Space Dashboard by selecting the reservation, and clicking Cancel.
