How Office and Meeting Room Rates Work (Monthly & Day Rates Explained)

We know pricing can sometimes feel a little confusing, so here’s a simple guide on how rates on Deskpass work and how to make sure you always get the right one.

Office Rates

Office rooms can be booked daily, weekly, or monthly. Office reservations are priced by how long you book:

  • Month Rate is applied when a reservations is 30 or more calendar days in length

  • Week Rate is applied when a reservation is 7 - 29 calendar days in length

  • Day Rate is applied when a reservation is 6 calendar days or less in length

💡 Example:

  • 09/01/2025 to 09/30/2025 = 30 days ➡️ Monthly Rate

  • 09/01/2025 to 09/29/2025 = 29 days ➡️ Weekly Rate

  • 09/01/2025 to 09/02/2025 = 2 days ➡️ Day Rate

Why doesn’t the monthly rate always show up?
Sometimes the system won’t apply the month rate automatically if your 30 day mark lands on a weekend, outside of space hours, or on a day that isn’t available.

If that happens, no worries - just reach out to Support and we’ll make sure you get the monthly price!

Meeting Room Rates

Meeting rooms are booked by the hour, but you’ll get the day rate when you book at least 8 hours in one day.

  • Hourly Rate is applied to booking under 8 hours

  • Day Rate is applied to bookings of 8 hours or more in the same day

💡 Example:

  • 9:00am to 5:00pm = 8 hours ➡️ Day Rate

  • 9:00am to 1:00pm = 4 hours ➡️ Hourly Rate x 4

Why doesn’t the day rate always show up?
Sometimes the system won’t apply the daily rate automatically if your reservation is less than 8 hours.

If you can’t get the day rate to apply because of a space hours or availability, let us know and we’ll work with the space to apply it for you!

✅ Pro Tips

  • For offices, pick dates that add up to 30+ days to unlock the monthly rate.

  • For meeting rooms, book at least 8 hours in one day to unlock the day rate.
