Why did Deskpass introduce a service fee?
We introduced an 8% service fee for all reservations in April 2024 to support the continuous enhancement of our platform, expansion of our workspace network, and improve our customer support services. This fee enables us to invest in the features and services that add the most value to your Deskpass experience.
How was the service fee determined?
We totally understand that extra fees aren’t anyone’s favorite part of the process. But like many platforms, we charge a service fee to help cover the behind-the-scenes essentials that keep everything running reliably and securely.
The 8% fee was determined through a comprehensive review of our operational costs, competitive analysis, and the investments needed to continue providing exceptional service and value. It aligns with industry standards and reflects our commitment to enhancing user experience
How is the service fee applied?
The service fee is 8%. We'll always show it clearly before you confirm your booking, so there are no surprises. You’ll also see it itemized in your reservation history and billing records.
Does the service fee apply to all reservations?
Yes, the service fee applies to all Deskpass Instant Workspace & Deskpass Teams reservations made through the app or website. If there are any exceptions, we’ll note those clearly at checkout or in your reservation terms.
